Hey everyone,

Its been a while since I have been on here mostly because of just being really busy as of late. but here I am with the Block of the Month # 3 pictured below. I cannot stress enough how much easier the Marti Michelle Templates have made my life easier during this project they are the bomb.com (-:

Next I have the two page layout and card that I did at a Close To My Heart Scrapbooking class last night the consultant that teaches the class is amazing she puts together the most creative layouts for our class, combinations that I would have never put together so here they are.

Hope everyone has a great weekend (-: I know I am planning on it and hopefully I will be back soon with some more projects (-:

Saturday Sampler Month 1 and 2

Hi All,

So for all of you that may not know quilting is at this time my primary hobby/stress relief project and today I am sharing one of my many projects with you. About two years ago i started participating in the Saturday Sampler program at my local quilt shop The Patchwork Pig. This program allows you to purchase the first block and thereafter as long as you have your block completed by the first saturday of the following month and are at The Patchwork Pig at one of the two appointed times you are given the next block free of charge. If one block isn't completed then you can purchase that block and as long as it is finished by the following months event you can again get the next block free of charge. This years blocks are made using the Marti Michelle Perfect Patchwork Templates Set L as shown below.
I have finished the first two blocks and the third block is currently in progress. Let me know what you think of the first two. There were also three other colorways these blocks could be done in but I liked this one the best.

More pictures of different projects to follow its been a while since my last post but I have been spending more time at the gym and less in front of the computer. Have a great week.

Amazon & A Healthier Me.

Hi All,

Life has been pretty laid back lately I finally talked myself into ordering the Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred Video so I can start that this weekend when it comes in.

So Amazon Prime is amazing I live in a fairly small town in New Mexico and it always seems that I am unable to find the things that I am looking for at a decent price or anywhere within a half hour drive of home. I love it I would highly recommend it to anyone who shops there regularly also a great option for anyone who owns a kindle you can borrow a book a month from the prime lending library which pays for the membership itself. Above are just a few things i have recently acquired from Amazon ( Does anyone else use the Camelbak Eddie Bottle) I drink so much more water now that I have one of these. The Terra chips are amazing for anyone trying to eat a little healthier but still struggling with crunchy cravings. I am one of those people lately I am trying to get back to the healthier lighter place I was back in September before I started eating horribly. So as of today I am using the My Fitness Pal app again and as soon as my 30 day shred dvd arrives I will be doing the 30 day shred challenge (Wish me luck) I am going to need it. Hope everyone had a great President's Day and has a great week.

Hi All,

Happy Valentines Day to everyone I started out my day feeling pretty well but that ended when I got out of bed. I think I am coming down with a cold I've got the same ick that everyone around here seems to have sore throat, headache and in general just not feeling really well but I am not going to let that get me down. So today I have worked taken flowers to my step-mom for my dad and delivered some candy to my cousins and my brother. I firmly believe that Valentine's Day is not a couples only holiday so I try to spread some Valentines cheer to all of my family. I also took flowers and candy to my mom yesterday. Tonight after my appointment with my trainer I am going to pick up dinner at my absolutely favorite place to eat (Costa Vida) and head home for a night in with the husband hope you all had an amazing day I'll leave you with a picture of my superb wrapping skills for the hubby's present. (-: The wrapping paper string and card are all from Paper Source one of my favorite stores for card and wrapping paper.

Theater Problem 1: Unsupervised Tweens

So on Friday night we went to the movie Warm Bodies don't get me wrong it was a great movie. However, we were surrounded by the an entire middle school worth of tweens who never ever ever stopped talking. It was horrible, the loudest theater I have ever been in I literally had a headache by the time the movie started. Kids yelling between the rows,  carrying on, talking on their iphones, reserving a whole row of seats so that familys that were trying to be seated together had no chance at all at one point we even moved so that a father who was escorting his daughters could actually sit with his daughters. All of this was taking place with basically no adult supervision so my question is where were all their parents and if they were in the theather did they not respect the fact that others had paid to enjoy a movie enough to make sure their children were not behaving obnoxiously.

Normally I don't mind kids in movies but this was the worst I have ever seen. I actually had to ask the kids seated next to us to be quiet when the movie started because they refused to stop talking. what are your thoughts on letting kids go to movies in a large group unsupervised?

Warm Bodies

This movie is what my friday will be consisting of. About two months ago my husband saw a preview for this move and decided that since I loved all things zombie it would be the perfect thing for me. I was a little sceptical when he described what it was about to me that is until I read the book which was amazing the book is also titled Warm Bodies (see the original cover below) and is by Isaac Marion it can be purchased in almost all formats including kindle format which is my preferred reading device.

Let me tell you the book was amazing not at all what I had expected it was an interesting commentary on what we as a race are going through, how some people seem to have no empathy or care for their fellow human beings, a touching love story and was just an overall great read (-:. Today is the day that the movie is out in theaters and I am super excited to see it. Hope everyone has an amazing Friday, TGIF. I will post soon and let you all know how the movie was in comparison to the book. Here is the trailer for all of you who are interested in seeing what its all about. http://youtu.be/07s-cNFffDM

Welcome

Hi All,

Welcome to my world I am just a normal girl wanting to get my thoughts out somehow and this seemed like the best bet for me. In the past month I have been reading a couple of blogs and felt that this would be my best way to communicate with friends and family who are living far away or who I just don't have the opportunity to see very often. My goal with this is to just share my everyday experiences with those who are interested in hearing about them. I will also try to post pictures of my finished or in progress projects and maybe even try to tackle some of those Pinterest projects that I have been talking about doing forever. well that's all for now. Hope everyone is having a great Friday.
